TPP® Vacuum filtration "rapid"- Filtermax

Product Description

Available volumes: 150ml, 250ml, 500ml and 1000ml. 0.22 μm PES filter with minimal protein binding. The square shape of the filter provides 20% more filtering area compared to circular filters, which increases the filtering speed.

All products are sterile, gamma sterilized. They are pyrogen, RNA, DNA, RNase and DNase free.

What makes the TPP filtration system unique:

• Large quadratic filter surface of 49 cm² and 69 cm² respectively
• Special lamella grid support and premium PES filter membrane, pore size of 0.22 µm with low protein binding capacity result in an extreme high flow rate
• Square thus secure footprint eliminates the risk of encompassment of the filter unit by the vacuum tubing
• Space saving medium reservoir
• Tapered form at the neck enables large and small hands a firm and slip free grip of the "rapid"- Filtermax system
• Each filter set comes with an adapter for the vacuum connection hose with an inside diameter of Ø 6 - 10 mm and a separately packed screw cap.

Full flexibility: Choice of filter set, top only or flask only, all provided with a GL-45 compatible screw thread.

TPP recommends filling the liquid into the filter first and then applying the vacuum.
