Cell culture is a broad field that includes both in vitro cultures (i.e. in a tube or “under glass”) as well as extracorporeally (ex vivo). Cell culture laboratories must be equipped with appropriate laboratory equipment that meets a number of quality requirements. These are mainly pipettes, aseptic tubes, culture bottles, dishes, refrigerators, pipette holders and stands, inoculation loops or titration plates.

Sterile inoculation loops

This simple instrument will assist you in the sterile transfer of microbiological material and safe laboratory work. The most common applications of inoculation loops are surface cultures and bacterial smears. It is thanks to inoculation loops that it is possible to maintain the so-called aseptic or sterile, environment, which prevents all kinds of infections.

Our inoculation loops are made of polystyrene, so they retain sufficient rigidity and quality.

Sterile spreader (Drygalski's spatulas)

Cell cultures often require the use of spreaders. They are primarily used to distribute the substrate evenly. In EPRO shop's range you can find NOEX spreaders made of white, high-quality polystyrene. Their L-shape makes laboratory work easier and helps to maintain precision.

In order to maintain the highest sterility, the spreaders are packaged individually or in groups of up to 5.

Petri dishes/plates (available in different versions)

Petri dishes, also known as petri plates, have been used successfully in the culture of microorganisms since the beginning. Today, their functions have expanded and the plates are also used, for example, as crystallisers or containers for microscopic analysis.
