PCR film

Why use OneCut™ films for PCR plate sealing? The films are mainly used to reduce the risk of sample contamination and to protect against evaporation and contamination of the test material. EPRO products are distinguished by their high strength, ideal transparency or the ability to access individual samples quickly and easily, yet safely, without having to peel off the top protective layer. Each film offers you slightly different benefits. The films available in this category can be used for both 96-well and 384-well PCR plates. It should be noted that EPRO's PCR OneCut™ film can be used in the wide operating temperature range from - 80°C to + 120°C.

Self-adhesive film for PCR plate sealing

The products falling into this category use a strong acrylic adhesive or silicone adhesive that complies with medical standards, allowing the film to be peeled off and re-adhered repeatedly. In the case of the film recommended for RT qPCR, the adhesive from the PCR film is released under pressure only at the edges of the wells. This is possible owing to the application of innovative technology. The adhesive substance does not limit visibility or accessibility to the samples in any manner during the RT qPCR reaction. It also does not leave sticky residues on the plate surface after removal.

PCR films, thanks to their exceptional optical clarity, can be used not only in standard PCR but also in RT qPCR. The use of high-quality products with guaranteed purity and safety is important for obtaining accurate and reproducible results.
