Safe-T-Stain is a nucleic acid stain for the detection of dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA in agarose gels. It is a safer alternative to ethidium bromide. Safe-T-Stain is as sensitive as ethidium bromide and is used in the same way as ethidium bromide. Safe-T-Stain emits green fluorescence and has an excitation at approximately 514 nm and 533 nm.
